Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without receiving some sort of perfume/ aftershave set and Ted Baker is one of the brands I always buy for my husband each year. Ted Baker have bought out a range of tonics based on some of the most sought after elements. The ones I have today are Ag and Au, the other one in the range is Cu.
Ag- Silver. Formulated for the traditional gentleman. Blended with notes of fresh violet leaf, cool eucalyptus and smoky leather, this impeccably polished scent is the very last word in masculinity.
Au- Gold. Made for the devilishly well- dressed gent. With bold notes of bergamot, spicy clove and opulent vanilla, it’s a scent to ensure a lasting impression.
Cu- Copper. Made for the discerning gent. A refined blend of grapefruit, fresh aquatic, warm pepper and cedarwood, this enigmatic scent embodies those who dare to be different.
The packaging is what you would expect from a classic range, each bottle comes with a decorative sleeve embossed with Ted Baker on it, the sleeve has the periodic table with the appropriate chemical element highlighted on it. When you remove the sleeve you see the bottle also embossed with the Ted Baker logo, as does the box. The back of the box features a description of the scent inside.
Out of the 2 fragrances I would say the Ag definitely matches the description of a classic scent, it makes me think of my father and grandfather, it will make a great gift for the more mature gentleman in your life. My husband loves the Au, it smells fresh and clean, it is an ideal gift for a teenager upwards.
I haven’t smelt the other scent in this range but I would love to as I feel it would compliment the others perfectly. The scent lasts quite a long time which I wasn’t expecting for the price point, it lasts just as well as some of my husbands more expensive aftershaves.
